Nike Doernbecher Freestyle 5 - Tony’s AJ 1 Retro

Marking the 5th year of Doernbecher Freestyle Collection, a collaborative project between Nike and Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Oregon which honors special Doernbecher patients who overcame great medical challenges. Each honoree, with assistances from the Nike creative teams and head designer Mark Smith, gets to create his or hers sneaker that convey their expressions on their lives, experiences and goals.

First of the collection is the tropical theme design by 16 year old Tony Taylor Jr. Hailed from Grant High School at Portland, Oregon, Taylor was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome, an aliment of the kidney, and subsequently overcame the disease with kidney transplant. Highly sought after Air Jordan 1 Retro by Taylor composed of an all-patent leather construction in gradient aqua marine color scheme, detailed with laser-etched palm tree silhouettes. Imprinted on the heel panel are numerals “15″ for Taylor’s age at the time, and “4407″, his new “birthday”. On the tongue, the is a customized graphic of caricature Mr. Booper, Tylor’s alter ego. Nike Sportswear Destroyer Pack

In Nike Sportswear’s third installment of the Destroyer Pack, the brand keeps things consistent with a varsity jacket and Dunk High with the further addition of a sweatshirt as well. While previous Destroyer Packs were marked by a more luxurious approach including the use of wool on footwear and leather on jackets, this third generation release features a more casual approach with a gradient patent upper and a jacket comprised of a nylon body. The Destroyer Dunks have already hit select retailers.

Nike Dunk Low - "Huskie"

Here is the new Nike Dunk Low ‘Huskie’. It features a perforated nubuck upper, and is part of the Winter Animal pack which also consists of the Dunk Low ‘Polar Bear’. They just released at select retailers including Proper.

Nike Dunk Hi Supreme Spark Pack

An new pack from Nike is presented, Nike Dunk Hi Supreme Spark Pack. The pack consists of three Dunk Hi’s, each featuring a fading upper in black, green or red. On the tongue, each sneaker features a basketball mascot in matching color. The mid sole also matches the upper and the outer sole comes in white.

Atmos will be releasing the Nike Dunk Hi Supreme Spark Pack on November 8th. Sit tight or lose!

The number one is here. It´s the Nike Dunk High Glow in the dark that takes the crown. These sneakers actually glow in the dark and that´s enough to win this competition. The glow in the dark feature is nothing new to the sneaker scene, but Nike takes this concept to the next level by applying it to the upper. When dark, the entire upper glows making this release very unique and innovative. These released back in 2006 and have become harder and harder to find as the years pass, but they do pop up every now and then.Sneakerfiles has done a great job with this list and we thank them for that. Sneakerfiles top 10 Halloween shoes (2th)

One of the more playful sneakers in Sneakerfiles Best Halloween Shoes takes the 2nd position. The Papa Bear Dunk High SB was released in 2006 in a collaboration with Medicom which also featured the Mama Bear Dunk Mid SB and Baby Bear Dunk Low SB in the 3 Bears Pack. The Papa Bear Dunk High is made up of fur and leather on upper with a light umber and hot house color-way. On the inside of the sneaker you can find the Bearbrick version of this sneaker and special packaging for the inside of the box. Good luck finding these elsewhere because they immediately sold out upon release. This was number 2 and tomorrow the number one of all Halloween shoes ever will be announced. Stay tuned!

Sneakerfiles top 10 Halloween shoes (3th)

Although the Day of The Dead Nike SB Dunk Low Premiums are not typically associated with Halloween, they were released around the time of the October holiday. These sneakers were designed to commemorate the holiday that remembers loved ones who passed away. Incorporated are a mixture of element inspired by the holiday including traditional skull and skeleton graphics spread out through the upper and on the inner and outer sole. The Day of the Dead Dunks were limited to 1000 pairs exclusively found in Canada and Mexico two years ago making them very hard to find at release and even harder now.

Sneakerfiles top 10 Halloween shoes (4th)

Sneakerfiles list of top halloween sneakers continues and in 4th place you´ll find the Freddy Kruger and Nike´s Dunk SB Low. These shoes is very rare and very hard find and is of course inspired by none other than the fictional Nightmare on Elm St character, Freddy Kruger. The sneakers consists of Freddy’s outfit colors and stripes as well as his being hit with his skin color, blood splatter and finished off with a silver swoosh. The Freddy Krueger Dunk Low SB won’t be hitting stores anytime soon and only samples can be found in the marketplace.

Sneakerfiles top 10 Halloween shoes (5th)

Inspired by the fictional Japanese monster from the Godzilla series, the Monster Air Max 95 ranks 5th in the Best Halloween Shoes series. The Monster Air Max 95 sports a combination of cargo, hornet and paul brown while the toe consists of a textured material representing Godzilla’s outer skin. The Monster Air Max 95s were originally released 7 years ago in 2001, however they can be found floating around eBay with a hefty price tag.

Coming in at the sixth spot in Sneakerfiles Best Halloween Shoes countdown is this Womens Nike Air Force 1 Halloween Edition from 2006. The womens version of the Halloween Air Force 1 receives a more subtle design with a leather upper opposed to the two other patent leather styles seen earlier in the countdown. However, this Air Force 1s sticks to the Halloween theme and features the usual Halloween colors, orange and black as well as a bat graphic at the back heel. Looking pretty good with the bat on the back of the right side!

Best Halloween Shoes - Nike Womens Air Force 1 Halloween (6th Best)

Based off one of the most classic Halloween characters Frankenstein is used as the main source of inspiration for this Nike Air Force 1 released this time two years ago. The sneakers appear in a familiar Halloween Air Force 1 format, patent leather being paired with designs tying into Halloween, this time around its Frankenstein’s colors and stitching on the toe and heel.

Taking the 8th Best spot in Sneakerfiles Best Halloween Shoes series is the Nike’s Halloween edition of the Air Force 1 released 3 years ago. The Halloween Nike Air Force 1 is made up of orange and black patent leather upper and an icon located at the back heel panel. This Air Force 1 sticks to the cliche Halloween colors of orange and black, but incorporates hints of white to lighten the flashy upper.
